Description:

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

  • This role reports directly to the Director of Operational Excellence and oversees a dedicated team of 3-5 transformation specialists.
  • Regular collaboration with Transformation Managers across various Business Units, IT, and AGC Excellence System (AES) teams is crucial for success.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

  • Occasional travel, with an average of 2 business trips lasting 2-3 days each month.
  • Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields, with a solid track record in leading transformation projects. A deep understanding of lean manufacturing, digital transformation, and operational processes in an industrial setting is essential. Fluency in English and familiarity with other languages (French, Czech, Hungarian, Arabic, etc.) are advantageous.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

AGC has established the Transformation Manager role to lead our ambitious agenda for change and innovation. This position is at the forefront of driving transformation across our operations to stay competitive in the fast-evolving industrial landscape. The focus is on leveraging lean manufacturing, digital transformation, and lean office principles to boost operational efficiency, agility, and market responsiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy Development and Planning: Analyze operations to identify improvement opportunities, applying lean principles. Develop and implement a transformation strategy aligned with AGC’s goals, including setting objectives and timelines.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Guide, mentor, and develop a team of specialists, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Project Management: Oversee transformation projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and meet set objectives.
  • Change Management: Lead initiatives to prepare the organization for change, focusing on effective communication, training, and support.
  • Innovation and Technology Implementation: Explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies and practices to enhance operational performance.
