The Wholesale Transformation is a key component of the WCOO construct. The key objective of Wholesale Transformation is to improve the MENAT Wholesale Change Landscape by acting as trusted advisors to CMB and GB businesses, leading and delivering sustainable change and ensuring commercialisation is achieved through our key programmes.
The Transformation Manager will drive the delivery of programmes and projects from initiation, through to implementation and closure – ensuring effective commercialisation and validation of business ROI.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE:

  • Be an energised, ambitious and high performing change agent who will lead the scoping and delivery of change programmes across the region.
  • Be responsible for the end to end delivery of a single project (or work stream of a larger project or programme), proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, risks, outcomes and benefits. Projects can be standalone or form part of a programme. Change Managers provide oversight and guidance to multiple smaller initiatives.
  • Develop the plan within constraints, and in line with HSBC project management methodology, considering the delivery approach, key milestones and dependencies within the plan, requirements and scope, effort and resources, budgets and quality.
  • Proactively monitor project execution to effectively identify risks/issues/dependencies as they arise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Take ownership of critical issues and ensures resolution within agreed timescales and implement mitigating plans against identified risks and issues.
  • Collaborate and build positive stakeholder and business partner relationships providing regular updates and proactively resolving high priority issues affecting the project.
  • Analyse management reports, and derive insights from it to drive the right business decisions.
  • Mobilises the project team and allocates tasks and roles efficiently and effectively
  • Promotes and takes accountability for project quality; identifying opportunities to improve delivery and overseeing the governance process to reduce risk and ensure effective and timely decisions are taken
  • Ensure key learnings are captured from each Project/ Programme to improve methodologies and share best practice
  • Be accountable for the timely and high quality delivery of programmes, adhering to HSBC core frameworks
    Requirements

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced in Project Management. Data Analytics experience is highly desirable
  • Good Knowledge about emerging technology and innovation
  • Experience on the delivery of complex and business critical change in accordance with existing industry best practices and methodologies.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with knowledge on when and how to re-prioritise, or escalate as required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outstanding relationship management and influencing skills, with experience of successfully working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments
  • Knowledge and experience of being flexible and adaptable in an environment of constantly changing priorities, challenging bureaucracy, whilst staying true to the values and strategy of the Group
  • Proven problem solving skills with ability to consider alternative and innovative solutions
  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and an appreciation for strategy, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
  • Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
