JOB DESCRIPTION

The Transition Specialist/Manager will join the Client Management operations team and will be responsible for providing support to the team leader and our existing operations professionals on current portfolio events for EMEA discretionary accounts, funds and ad hoc operational tasks.

In particular:

  • Managing portfolio events including launch of new funds share classes, custodian changes, discretionary accounts on-boarding, benchmark changes, in kind and termination
  • Project managing the implementation of portfolio events across external stakeholders and internal stake holders, including the portfolio management team, legal, compliance and other relevant support functions. Providing exceptional client service and manage client queries, ensuring they are addressed in a timely and comprehensive fashion.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for operations-related questions/requests.
  • Day-to-day execution and maintenance of a wide array of operational tasks/processes.
  • Continue to develop on existing operational skills and develop subject matter expertise

REQUIRED SKILL SET

  • Primary degree with an emphasis in Finance and Economics or a related, quantitative/analytical field from an accredited, leading business school or university
  • Basic knowledge of Fixed Income and derivatives
  • Well organized, self-starter able to work in a team environment
  • Good IT skills with intermediate Excel skills, coding skills a plus
  • Fluency in English with additional Italian language an advantage
  • Transitions, client relationship management experience and project management an advantage
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, to prioritize tasks and liaise with multiple counterparties
  • Ability to adapt communication style to different internal and external audiences
  • Extreme attention to details
