Responsibilities:
- Manage operational performance including service levels, complaints, shortages, Backhaul, etc.
- Update delivery instructions with real time information.
- Ensure that the driver is aware and fully competent of all new delivery instructions.
- Maintain the customer key and alarm code process.
- Monitor and manage weekly performance for team members – route knowledge, absence, lateness, accidents, vehicle cleanliness, driver paperwork accuracy and employee standards.
- Ensure the transport management system (TMS) is checked to confirm delivery windows are met, signatures/photos are obtained, and a time is recorded against each of the deliveries.
