This post is within our Operational Resilience and Support Services Directorate that provides centralized support to the Clinical Operating Divisions for a range of services, including major incident management, CQC compliance, staff and patient transport, interpreting services, personal protective equipment (PPE) and a logistics function for the trust.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive and high-quality administrative service to support the Patient and staff transport services as well as the Interpreting services of the Trust. This includes being the first point of contact for all aspects of the services provided by a third party provider.
The post holder will be trained to ensure patients requesting PTS are eligible as per the NHS eligibility criteria, booking appropriate journeys via the Cleric system, liaising with patients and clinicians regarding all aspects of the PTS service.
The postholder will deliver the day- to- day operations of the Non- Emergency Patient Transport Service, staff transport and the Interpreting Service for the Trust and be the interface between patients, Clinicians, service administrators and the third party providers.
The postholder will be expected to enter information into the electronic patient record system, manage information and spreadsheets, liaising with the third party providers regarding any data validation queries.

Work with the Transport and Interpreting Services Coordinators to provide a first class punctual Non- Emergency Patient Transport and Interpreting Service across the Trust.
Work with the Transport and Interpreting Services Manager and the Procurement Team, providing information to support and inform the procurement and contracting processes.
Work with service providers to provide training on systems at a range of sites across the Trust so that staff are shown how to use the services.
Be the first point of contact for concerns and complaints, resolving them with the relevant providers if possible and escalating them, where necessary.
Maintain accurate records and content of manual and electronic filing systems.
