THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/ ATTRIBUTES: -

• Hold a current CPC Transport Manager qualification
• Good understanding of the transport environment within the waste industry
• Attention to detail/accuracy
• Good oral and written communication
• Excellent organisation and analytical skills
• Some administration experience, with the ability to use Microsoft packages amongst others
• Ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
• The ability to work to deadlines efficiently and effectively
• A positive attitude towards safety maintaining high levels of health and safety standards
  You will look after a Fleet of 9 Vehicles in Wolverhampton, 3 in Dewsbury and 3 In Teesside, along with 12 Vans across the 3 sites.

NOW LET US TELL YOU ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Operator licence holder and management for North East and West Midlands
• Maintenance of the company fleet of vehicles
• Printing and issuing paperwork and labels
• Monitoring resources to ensure adherence to WTD and drivers’ hours legislation
• Managing driver training and upkeep of competences
• Monitoring Occupational Health requirements of all drivers
• Ensuring legal compliance regarding any defects, services, MOT’s, etc.
• Ensuring all accidents/incidents/near misses are logged and reported in line with company procedures
• Ensuring adherence to all statutory and legal requirements, adhering to all health & safety/safe systems of work
