Pay Rate: £42,000 to £46,500 (Depending on experience)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Managing DSC Transport Team to include the Elekta Transport Operations
• Managing Cytiva shipping Team
• To support and cover PALL Industrial FLM when required to oversee Industrial shipping team.
• Oversight of weekly Quicks - Meet assigned PALL Industrial & DSC budgets and KPIs
• Attend Customer Calls/Meetings - Deal with NCRs & Solve Raised Problems
• Oversee POD & Customs Documentation Retention
• Support Managers on site in other departments
• Support day to day operations to meet customer KPIs and service level expectations
• Support site GM & Ops managers with any required tasks and provide cover for them when needed
• Provide support for disciplinaries when assigned
• Health & Safety responsibility for team members and support across site
• To support contract projects in capturing and providing movement and cost saving data
• Increase the profitability of the Site Operations
• Able to work with senior DHL management, directly with customers and third party transport operators

• This role is essential to improving the service delivered and financial performance of the Cherwell 2 contracts through the analysis of key metrics and performance measures.
• To manage multiple teams across contracts to maximise revenue & profits.
• To ensure that the Cytiva, PALL Industrial and DSC shipping teams complete all day to day documentation processes to ensure a zero OTD each day.
