OUR CLIENT IS A GLOBAL MNC, ONE OF THE LEADING PLAYERS IN THE ENGINEERING SECTOR. DUE TO BUSINESS NEEDS, THEY ARE NOW RECRUITING A TRANSPORT OPERATION EXECUTIVE TO BE PART OF THEIR TEAM FOR ONGOING TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of internal/external transport personnel, ensuring smooth operations/processes
• Facilitate communication among the company’s different departments to enhance efficiency in the movement/operations of the company’s equipment, ensuring optimal transport arrangements
• Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of incoming/outgoing equipment to meet the necessary deadlines
• Receive/Manage incoming goods and shipments, coordinating with the various freight forwarders, and arrange the parking accordingly
• Suggest/Implement cost-saving measures, optimizing transportation expenses and meeting the company’s saving objectives
• Update/Maintain the necessary transport delivery information, distributing the necessary documents to the various departments
• Work closely with both internal/external stakeholders to guarantee the seamless execution of the company’s transportation operations
• Monitor/Enhance the company’s transportation policies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing potential policies

• Negotiate/Liaise with various external transport providers to identify the best cost saving methods for transporting the company’s equipment between various locationsAll other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or other relevant field of studies
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics/Transportation Operations
