Start and end times: 0630-1500 / 0730-1600 / 0800-1630 / 0900-1730

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to play a vital role ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department.

• As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will
• Based inside the customers head office in Milton Keynes
• Our primary purpose is to successfully schedule movement of customer orders via own and 3rd party transport fleets within strict service and costs criteria.
• To plan loads and considate orders to ensure vehicle fill.
• To monitor, evaluate the system and operational performance, recommending improvements for both process and system
• Create routes and allocate vehicles, alongside Driver resources to meet planning deadline
• Support the Planning Manager in Plan/Do/Review calls
• Ensure that work instructions and standard operating procedures are followed and check lists adhered to
