ERM are searching for a talented Transport Planning Engineer. Offer can be made at Graduate/Associate, Consultant or Senior Consultant level depending on experience.
You will prepare transport reports, plans and drawings to support planning applications, namely Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and transport chapters of Environmental Statements. This varied role involves a broad range of tasks, including feasibility studies, transport strategies, data analysis, traffic modelling and highway design.

About you
You will have a civil/transport engineering degree qualification and be familiar with development planning and transport engineering. You’ll possess the ability to understand and interpret highway standards to help prepare concept and preliminary designs for highways and junctions, as well as having good presentation and technical writing skills, along with a sound working competence in the use of MS Office products (including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Experience in the preparation of technical reports including Transport Assessments and Travel Plans would be advantageous, and mean that your job offer is at a higher level.
