Description:

Cardinal Health Canada, with over 1300 employees nationwide, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.
We are looking for positive and team-oriented individual to join our Head Office in Vaughan or our other facilities within Canada to support our Transportation team. As a Transportation Analyst you will impact our team by managing all inbound and outbound analysis and creating reports required to support the National Transportation functions. You will provide analytical support for all National Transportation management functions to ensure cost control, service levels, information flow, as well as enforce compliance. The successful candidate will also assist with the development of transportation initiatives as an integral part of the National Transportation team.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:

  • Analyzing Regional Transportation costs, Carrier rates and service levels on a regular basis
  • Compiling common Carrier outbound summary reporting covering cost, performance, and compliance analytics alongside QBR cadence input
  • Preparing month end outbound accruals relative to freight plan while maintaining data integrity and accurate financial (G/L) allocation
  • Analyzing regional activities and interpret operation results to develop solutions to help drive profitability and growth
  • Working with regional leadership to provide guidance as necessary to optimize transportation systems, methods, procedures, and costs
  • Partnering with internal customers to provide customer focused solutions
  • Collaborating with finance to process invoice, produce month end reports and annual budgets
  • Completing regular audits of regional invoices
  • Building partnerships with our freight invoice processor and shipment auditing partner
