SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the management of customer freight in Europe. This includes reporting, carrier management, financial management and tracking, working with the Customer Service teams, and support other supply chain projects. The key accountability of this role is to ensure high levels of service to our customers, cost management, and to ensure all of the customer requirements are met. The person must be comfortable dealing with both external and internal resources, the oversight of the daily transport operations, and working closely with the Distribution center. Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid environment. A minimum of 3 days per week in the office is required.
- Monitor and track service level by carrier and business unit, such as Cost per box/shipment reporting, mode mix and delivery frequency, and other KPI’s
- Manage rates and contracts with carriers, including business reviews and overall service. Understanding of European transportation rules and regulations. Also responsible for maintenance of transport systems for customer freight.
- Ensure business continuity by proactively following up on supply chain disruptions identifying root cause and countermeasure.
- Responsible for invoicing processing, and budgeting for customer freight, including reporting metrics.
- Liaise with the customer service teams with each business unit to manage exceptions, shipping frequencies, carrier performance and any other concerns.
- Assist in the implementation of transportation and supply chain strategies to support business growth
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years Freight Transportation Analyst level minimum (required)
- Supply Chain & Logistics experience
- Distribution Operations experience
- Knowledge of European Carrier Networks
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. / B.A in Business, Operations Management, Logistics or Engineering (required)
- Specialized Logistics/Freight management training (desirable)

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management - (plan, organize, and lead implementation of freight related projects)
- Systems management – (rate management, route optimization, contracts updated)
- Monitor and manage freight activity and processes in support of European Business Units, carriers and any other Hollister departments e.g. manufacturing plants, regional distribution center’s etc.
- Monthly financial reporting and budget reviews twice per year
- Serve as the communication link between the business units, IT, distribution center and carriers as required
- Identify and initiate improvement actions by continuous benchmarking, problem analysis, supplier networking & development
