GENERAL SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Traffic Supervisor, the Transportation Coordinator responsibilities will include, TMS Tendering, customer invoicing, preparing export documents, general office related duties and provide administrative support for the department.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Obtaining Shipping instructions from Customers for US/Mexico and International shipments.
• Arrange Transportation for USA loads from Burlington and 3PL Warehouse.
• Ordering Certificates from CFIA for CHINA, USA and Mexico
• Preparing Export Documentation for US and Mexico loads including all Export Documentation.
• Tendering loads to carriers through TMS
• Invoicing of Domestic/USA/Mexico loads shipping from Burlington plant.
• Responsible for dealing with returned and recalled product returning from US.
• Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATION:

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics environment preferred.
• Experience with AS/400 system is an asset.
• TMS experience an asset.
• Export documentation (USA, Mexico and International) Preferred.
• Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel).
• Overtime may be required periodically.
