Specific Responsibilities:

  • Audit employee expense reports – with a special focus on correct classification, daily allowances.
  • Handle employee queries with a focus on best practices.
  • Ensure the travel policies are thoroughly followed. Provide supporting documentation and reports for external and internal audits.
  • Correct reported errors in the ERP system.
  • Process and clear weekly outgoing payments in alignment with local finance.
  • Complete period-end activities – including accrual reports and reconciliation of G/L accounts.
  • Maintain the Desktop Procedures through regular reviews and updates.
  • Assist in projects for the continuous improvement and standardization of processes.
  • Support improvement of key performance indicators.
  • Complete tasks assigned to him/her by the Team Leader/Line Manager.

Skills Required:

  • Well organized and manages own time to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interact with employees in a positive and effective manner.
  • Accurate and quality focused – reviews own work.
  • Put customer first.
  • Team Player.
  • Ability to speak and write English and another European language.
  • Proficient MS Office user – mainly in Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge in SAP or ERP systems is an advantage.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required, college courses in accounting preferred.

  • 1-2 years of Finance/Admin/T&E experience – preferably using Concur and/or SAP
