Responsibilities:

The Travel Specialist position (Feature Film and Film/TV Production) is an exciting one that manages all aspects of “high touch” travel logistics on a production from large scale Feature Films, Independent & Art Cinema and all genres of Television and Streaming services. You’ll be working with a variety of customer stakeholders such as Unit Production Managers, Travel Co-ordinators, Production Co-ordinators and Production Accountants managing travel & finance for a variety of cliental from “above & below the line” actors, talent, crew and production staff through the stages of the life cycle of “recce”, pre-production, production through to wrap up & financial closure.
Operating as a project manager you’ll be in control of planning, negotiating, quoting, booking and invoicing air travel, accommodation, vehicles, excess baggage & ancillaries, meet & greet, unique services and logistic needs. As schedules change you will be managing minor to major project variations (which can come at short notice) to ensure the production is a complete success.
Working in a strong team environment, project style tasks, attention to detail, time-sensitive situations, exceptional customer service and delivering results under tight deadlines are just some of the areas you will naturally enjoy and excel in. Working in production travel doesn’t always adhere to a typical 9-5 office hours. At times we all need to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers and the production schedule. As a result, there may be instances where you may need to work beyond regular office hours to fulfil the project commitments. A passion for the big & small screen and how those stories connect people with unbelievable experiences will go a long way.
