ABOUT THE ROLE / ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?
As a Treasury and Finance Officer in the Corporate Finance team at John Holland, your role would involve assisting with the company’s financial activities and ensuring efficient treasury operations.
The initial position is to cover 6 months of parental leave on a fixed term contract however, as a full-time employee with John Holland you will have access to apply for internal positions across the greater John Holland business to continue forging your career.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE / WHAT YOU WILL DO;
- Administration of online banking platforms
- Creation, maintenance and management of bank accounts (i.e. signatories, electronic authorisers)
- Coordination of payment approvals in online banking platforms
- Processing Ad Hoc Payments in Workday on behalf of the business
- Creation and maintenance of foreign supplier bank accounts
- Manage internal and external Bank Guarantee Charges within the Treasury Management System
- Process multiple monthly internal corporate charge outs for teams such as IT, Resourcing, Commercial, etc
- Manage timesheet collection, processing and reporting for Corporate Cost Centres
- Manage Balance Sheet Reconciliations and process ad hoc journals as required
- Provide support for the corporate finance team as required
ABOUT YOU; TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS KEY ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE / WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR;
- Good understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
- Experience in treasury operations and payment processing
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, treasury management systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle pressure during peak periods is crucial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including finance teams, senior management, and external parties
