We are hiring a Treasury Management Consultant for a remote position supporting one of our Financial Services clients.
The ideal candidate will have a robust Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or Cash Management background and a unique blend of data, technical, and functional expertise. This role will be instrumental in the successful integration and exchange of data in support of a new TMS, requiring hands-on experience in system conversations, implementations, and integrations and a deep understanding of treasury or cash management functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Treasury or Cash Management systems to contribute effectively to the data exchange and integration points between other systems and the Treasury Management system.
- Work closely with TMS and technology teams to review functional and system requirements for TMS implementation based on project needs and objectives.
- Perform system analysis of TMS functionalities to identify and address any issues or discrepancies, ensuring optimal system performance and alignment with other systems.
- functionality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of treasury functions, focusing on cash management. Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing cash processes within the TMS.
- Review documentation of TMS processes, and functional requirements, and proactively identify integration issues
- Review data maps and flows both upstream and downstream around system integrations within the technology infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Treasury Management Systems or cash management migrations and or implementations.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting functional requirements for financial systems.
- Strong technical analytical skills and the ability to identify and proactively address data integration issues.
- Expertise in Treasury Management or Cash Management Systems is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of data ordinates within a system of record to include data flows upstream and downstream
- Proven experience working with transactional data, operational data, and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
