KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage the organization’s commercial paper issuance program.
- Manage the credit union repo program.
- Implement a derivatives management system that ensures all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in the portfolio management process for the liquidity portfolio.
- Assist and provide back-up in the management of all foreign exchange activity of the organization.
- Assist and provide back-up in the management and execution of derivative transactions for the organization and the credit unions.
- Provide back-up in maintaining the treasury management system software modules.
- Provide back-up in resolving any treasury management software, workstation interface, and module issues.
- Manage and/or support any project-based initiatives for the Financial Services team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Support risk management and effective governance by maintaining compliance with policies, procedures and controls both corporately and within area of responsibility, ensuring they are operating effectively and escalating discrepancies to management.
- All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Related University, college, formal certification or a combination of formal education and 2 years of experience.
- Previous financial services industry experience.
- Team-oriented, having experience collaborating with multiple levels and sectors of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize effort and manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office.
- Must be bondable.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager, this position is responsible for managing the organization’s commercial paper issuance program. This role also manages the credit union repo (repurchase agreement) program which allows credit unions to access short term liquidity. This position will be responsible to implement a derivatives management system.
