Truck Diesel Mechanic Supervisor/Fleet Work/Napier

This is an important position for this company so you must have the right skills and/or qualifications. You must have a stable work background and be able to work on your own.
Do you have good customer service skills which allows you to communicate freely with management and other staff? This is an unusual chance to work automonously with a fleet of 30 trucks under your control, as well as with some other trucks from around other depots. You will need to have good communication skills with the ability to build relationships with operators and Transport Managers on site, as well as report the findings of the maintenace, or the repairs, you have provided to the Fleet Manager.
You will need to self-manage your time time and organise service and repairs to the fleet in Napier, as well as also arranging largerrepairs with other service suppliers, as required.
This role will require you to diagnose engine and driveline complaints and you must have some knowledge of electrical repairs.
Occasional roadside call outs will be required for which a call-out allowance will be paid.
