ActronAir is seeking a Truck Driver to join our team to transport finished goods and spare parts to ActronAir customer premises as directed.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The key responsibilities for the role include:

• Transport finished goods and spare parts to customer premises
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations
• Other tasks as reasonably require

There are a few essential tools you will need under your belt to be successful in this role:

• Good verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of and commitment to safety principles
• Ability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situation (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
• Current (as a minimum) MR Truck licence
• 3+ years’ experience as a MR Truck Driver
• Forklift ticket is an advantag
