Responsibilities:
- Support service departments across the company with technical support and repair plans.
- Provide visibility to Inland on upcoming issues and repair strategy to reduce down time for the customer.
- Provide technical support to the service managers with vendor goodwill/policy when needed. This can be technical data, labour, or diagnosis justifications.
- Work directly with manufacturers on projects that support product and service improvement or enhancement.
- Identify new issues and investigate to understand product reliability problems.
- Manage common failures across the business and act as the liaison with manufacturers to find a resolution.
- Support with TCS case review for timeliness and quality information from both dealerships and Kenworth.
- Provide technical support to the Fleet Support team within the Concierge program.
- Work closely with Paccar Connected Truck (TruckTech+) to help predetermine repair path before the truck gets to the dealership.
- Travel to dealerships to network with technicians and service departments and provide hands-on support when required. Partner with the Inland Learning & Development department to understand training requirements and service department performance.
- Become familiar with and comply with the company’s Health & Safety Manual.
