    An ideal learning opportunity as Trust Accounts Clerk (Accounts Payable) to be mentored and working directly with the Accounts Payable Manager in a reputable global law firm. The firm has consistently been an employer of choice and they are a huge advocate for sustainability, inclusion, diversity and equity. The ideal candidate will have accounts experience with excellent stakeholder management skills to confidently communicate with Senior Partners, Managers, and various teams.
    Key Responsibilities(but not limited to) :

Accounts payable

  • Responding to queries via email and telephone and assisting in attending to submissions to the Accounts Payable mailbox
  • Review of invoice and expense submissions
  • Processing/arranging of urgent payments and uploading bank files

Trust Account Processing

  • Process payments and receipts in a timely manner and ensure documentation is appropriately authorised and filed in accordance with prevailing trust rules
  • Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations for trust and controlled money accounts
  • Produce daily and monthly reports for trust and controlled money accounts
  • Coordinate opening and closing of controlled money accounts as needed and ensure that proper documentation is maintained
  • Other ad-hoc duties
