Trust Registrar in Urology

You will be an integral part of our urology team caring for elective and emergency patients. You will work closely in a supportive environment with 3 FY1 doctors, core surgical trainees, clinical fellows and specialty trainee registrars, and 12 consultants. When no assigned to elective theatre, you will join our daily ward round which provides a rich learning opportunity to complete workplace-based assessments. You will develop you operating skills as detailed above.
You will have to access to urological theatre to assist in a wide variety of procedures. You will form part of the FY1 on call rota working closely with an on call registrar and consultant, managing all aspects of acute urological pathologies.Further opportunities include regular formal departmental teaching sessions and the option of contributing to audit/QI/research projects
