Description:
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of high school or the equivalent. Five years office experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Be knowledgeable of confidentiality standards, including FERPA.
- Detail oriented, critical thinking skills and organizational skills.
- Preferred knowledge related to K-12 schools.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work in teams and work effectively under stressful situations, ability to plan and organize.
- Detail oriented
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and complete records for Adult Learning program per grant requirements. Keep abreast of changing requirements or procedures relevant to grant reporting.
- Perform data entry procedures in TEAMS, FOCUS, and other systems used by TTU K-12.
- Interact with students, TWC staff, district staff, and university officials. Answer questions, relay Information and solve problems in a professional and timely manner. Assure that officials and agencies are provided information necessary to meet student’s needs.
- Ability to use office equipment, computers and phone systems. Respond to email messages in a timely manner and seek help from supervisors and peers as needed.
- Have understanding of the TTU-K12 programs, policies and procedures. Be able to assist other areas of the adult learning program.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- This position is based on the continuation of grant.
