Position Purpose: The Coatesville YMCA in Coatesville, PA is searching for an enthusiastic Advanced Program Instructor-Tumbling to plan, organize and deliver quality value-driven Tumbling programs to participants in accordance with the YMCA’s goals and mission in development and positive community impact.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2-5 years prior teaching or instructional experience
- Training and qualifications in the specialized instruction area
- Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills
- Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
- Obtain and maintain all new hires certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes and leads specific activities, routines and/or classes for all participants.
- Leads with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program.
- Organizes and maintains program records including, but not limited to: attendance records, rosters, etc.
- Manages all equipment.
- Maintains a clean and risk-free environment.
- Communicates effectively and timely with program participants and parents.
- Ensures all children are picked up by a parent.
- Promotes other YMCA programs by handing out brochures, answering questions, or referral to appropriate person.
- Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
