BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU DO:

You’ll join a mission-driven team and agency dedicated to supporting our clients. We have been entrusted with a 114-year legacy of doing good and we have set forth a bold goal of ending poverty in our community. Our services are uniquely positioned to address a myriad of key factors that keep families from reaching their bigger, brighter future. We have identified five different areas, or pathways, in which our programs create impact: financial resiliency, education credentials, emotional resiliency, resource stability, and employment. And we’re growing our team to make it all happen! Though we are guided by our Catholic Faith, you do not have to be Catholic to join our team or receive services.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?

  • Lead the TXOR Monitoring Team of Monitoring and Compliance Specialists, providing comprehensive training, setting and maintaining accountability through clear expectations, and supporting professional development.
  • Direct TXOR monitoring strategies to ensure compliance, empower subgrantee partners, and continuously improve service provision.
  • Manage the development and implementation of a monitoring strategy with monthly, quarterly, and annual touchpoints to assess programs across all subgrantee partners.
  • Oversee all onsite and virtual monitoring visits, including setting the schedule and due dates for information needed in advance, assigning roles to all participating team members, and developing partner communications regarding timeline/plan/requirements.
  • Manage all TXOR staff participating in monitoring visits from start to finish, facilitating meetings and interviews, maintaining records, and answering all questions that arise.
  • Develop tools and standard operating procedures to support a monitoring framework that is efficient and effective.
  • Hold partners accountable to all programmatic requirements and manage follow-up to ensure any issues are resolved.
  • Manage ongoing risk assessment of partners to determine and facilitate the annual monitoring schedule.
  • Maintain a clear and up-to-date understanding of Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) policy letter language, interpretation, reporting requirements, and best practices for implementation of the CFR.
  • Produce comprehensive monitoring reports, confirming all required follow-up items to address issues identified in the report.
  • Oversee additional site visits, as needed, to conduct targeted evaluation of potential high-risk issues.
  • Train all TXOR staff in the requirements of the CFR and TXRP Manual, to equip the team to support partner compliance.
  • Design and implement compliance-centered trainings for both the TXOR team and partners, highlighting answers to key questions that consistently arise and providing updates on CFR and ORR policy letters.
  • Identify trends in issues that arise throughout monitoring and make recommendations about how these may be addressed through technical assistance and/or additional evaluation.
