OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

Ensuring output of top quality work executed at maximum efficiency from the Workshop.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Communication: Ensure effective communication with senior and subordinate staff for smooth operation of work shop floor.
• Quality: Ensure quality work for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention by minimising repeat jobs hence increasing total workshop efficiency.
• Training and Coaching: Provide moral support and occasional on-job assistance to build up confidence.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness on the shop floor.
• Ensure technicians wear clean specified uniforms
• Ensure technicians maintain good discipline (e.g. not shouting, smoking, wandering, littering etc.)
• Ensuring that equipment is working properly
• Ensuring proper use of tools and equipment ad safety gear.
• Ensuring workshop floor is free of hazards e.g. Oil, Parts, Hoses, Wires on the floor
• Ensuring staff (and customer) discipline, e.g. smoking on the shop floor, standing below the lift, not using wheel chocks etc.

WHAT EQUIPS YOU FOR THE ROLE:

• Degree /Diploma in Automobile /Mechanical Engineering
• 3-5 Years as technical /Supervisory levels in a reputed workshop.
