KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of professional experience in building reliable and scalable web/mobile applications.
• Proficient in web front-end technologies – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript 6, NodeJS, Angular and React.
• Hands-on experience with debugging JavaScript and writing unit tests.
• Ability to analyze requirements, facilitate accurate estimation of tasks and develop technical specifications.
• Experience with common application design patterns and data access strategies.
• Knowledge of common cross-browser and cross-device issues.
• Knowledge of Frontend best practices and debugging techniques.
• Sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver working solutions on time.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
• BA/BS or higher in a computer software or related field.

Preferred

• React development experience.
• Build tools (Grunt, Gulp, Webpack etc)
• Testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, etc.)
• Experience with public cloud technologies and application monitoring.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilizing modern web frontend and open source technologies to design, develop, and unit test Encompass Web application.
• Working with product management and designers to assure quality product definitions.
• Helping in definition of engineering and architecture roadmaps.
• Writing usable and scalable applications.
• Coding for testability and maintainability.
• Being on-call for production issues, on a rotation basis.
