Description:

PMAT seeks a User Interface software platform builder with experience in developing Micro Frontend and/or microservices solutions. Responsible for developing functional and aesthetically pleasing applications that perfectly meet the needs of the user. Technical expertise in front-end languages, excellent visualization, and good communication skills. Must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision. Must embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development.
Clearance: Due to the nature of the contract/work US Citizenship is required. Must be eligible to obtain a DoD security clearance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study (CS, CIS, CSE) is required

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience as a software developer
  • Experience object-oriented languages and application of S.O.L.I.D. principles
  • Experience in SOA/microservice applications
  • Experience with containerization
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Experience collaborating with complex production systems
  • Production focused, results oriented. Ability to evaluate requirement scope

MINIMUM SKILLS/LANGUAGES:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • State management
  • Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
  • Unit Testing

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop quality software solutions employing modern DevSecOps tools and methodologies utilizing a SOA and microservices approach
  • Provide adept recommendations to senior engineers, mentor junior engineers by studying information needs and conferring with users, study systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigate problem areas
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
  • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
  • Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them and protect operations by keeping information secure
  • Collaborate with team to innovate and create new capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with others to achieve goals, be a persistent, creative problem solver, and stay on the leading edge of development practices
