Description
SAIC is seeking an individual for a UI/Web Developer role to join the AI Mission Accelerator’s Fusion Team. This opportunity allows for full-time telework from anywhere within the U.S.
The successful candidate will have strong experience using a variety of UI technologies and patterns. They must have a proven ability to create reactive user interfaces that will interact with various APIs and other data retrieval processes. You would support a variety of programs including but not limited to customer programs, IRAD projects and bid and proposal work.
The UI Developer role will work in a collaborative team-focused environment with technical understanding and practical application in prototyping, designing, and implementing web applications which will be used in a wide range of environments. This position will help progress, establish, incorporate, and advance current and promising interfaces that will interact with our AI/ML capabilities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proficient in React architecture and components
• Integrate APIs and work with server-side communications
• Familiarity with Redux and state management
• Ability to create complex UI interactions and animations using React libraries
• Experience with TypeScript and/or React Hooks
• Familiar with styling libraries like Bootstrap or Material UI
• Experience and knowledge in styling languages such as CSS, SCSS, or LESS

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a US Citizen
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering is required with two or more years’ experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript
• Understanding data structures and software architecture
• Experience handling and displaying data retrieved from APIs

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience using popular React testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, etc.
• Knowledge with mockup design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, etc.
• Working within AWS CLI for deploying to S3 buckets
