Description:

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Preferably ACCA Part- qualified / Finalist)
  • Proven accounting experience with experience in general ledger accounting and knowledge of Tax, Indirect tax and statutory reporting (Knowledge of both UK and Irish tax an advantage)
  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP (SAP preferable) systems and other data analysis software.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Prepare and complete all internal Corporate tax analysis for monthly / quarterly and annual reporting in line with the Sandoz group deadlines. Help review, develop and document these processes to ensure strong compliance across the UK & IE entities.
  • Compile the indirect tax (VAT) returns for UK & IE including the review of information with our Indirect tax consultants through the Monthly / Bi monthly / Quarterly analysis, liaising with the FRA Head for approvals and completion of Monthly & Quarterly Payments to HMRC / IE.
  • Assist the FRA head with external audit requirements for both Direct & Indirect taxes liaising with the 3rd party external consultants (EY, KPMG, Deloitte) to compile and gather information to meet the key deadlines.
  • Support with the end-to-end Annual Statutory audits and reporting process for UK & IE assisting the core activities from data gathering, query management and review of information requests with KPMG / Deloittes.
  • Complete monthly intercompany activities including the processing of entity recharge and assist with the development of Transfer pricing policies to assist with tax optimsation with the global tax team.
  • Regular review and analysis of Corporation Tax / PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) helping develop and streamline the process. Help liaise with the local admin teams and external consultant teams supplementing the completion of the annual return and submission to the HMRC to the required deadlines.
  • Help develop and promote strong cross-functional collaboration with local and global internal stakeholders including Finance operations, Tax and legal teams to streamline and align processes, by developing best practice and improve discrepancy resolution.
  • Provide regular support to the FRA Head on periodic projects including system implementations and continuous improvements and alignment to core business reporting.
