Job description
It would be best if you had a valid (Clean) Driver’s license to apply for this position. Must have reliable transportation that can remain with you during your shift.
We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts, illegal dumping, and other criminal behavior. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority and possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company maintain excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.

Hours listed below:
3:00pm-11:00pm

11:00pm-7:00am

• Patrol premises regularly in marked patrol vehicles to maintain order and establish presence
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to staff in need
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

SKILLS

• Proven experience as a security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in computer systems
• High School diploma is required
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  Pay: $16.00 per hour
  Job Type: Part-time/Full-time when available

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Sunday
• Night shift
• On call
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
