Responsibilities:
As well as completing the industrial training component of your degree, you will be working on real projects with real responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to develop to your full potential and beyond, alongside owners of the business whilst experiencing the variety and diversity of consulting engineering, alongside owners of our business.
Through this experience you will learn to do the following:
- Calculations, data analysis, modelling and design of Acoustics within the Built Environment: Hospitals, Education Facilities, Sporting Facilities, Commercial Mixed Use Developments and Industrial.
- Environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics, 3D computer noise modelling, numerical analysis.
- Carry out site investigations and feasibility studies. Carry out noise and vibration measurements.
- Work on multi-disciplinary design projects liaising with Civil, Sustainability and Building Services teams.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders including architects, developers, commercial builders and local/state government bodies.
