Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To undertake administrative duties in relation to the underwriting of new and renewal business using the relevant B&C policy administrative or rating systems
- Undertake any training of peers as requested by any Head of Department/ Supervisor
- To peer review the work of other team members.
- Underwriting of Mid Term Adjustment/ handling of post related items.
- To engage with our external clients with professionalism and take personal ownership of seeing queries through to a satisfactory close, utilising internal relationships where necessary.
- To work within your personal authority level and engage with higher authority holders for sign off where appropriate.
- To actively work to increase your personal authority.
- Adhering to all internal service level agreements, you will ensure a prompt turnaround of all post related queries and keep our external clients abreast of developments and expected timeframes.
- Assist the Supervisor in monitoring the agreed service levels for teamwork items allocating work to team members and the Underwriting Operations Team as necessary.
- Assist with the production of reports for management.
- Assist with any project work as requested.
- Awareness of FCA rules pertinent to the role.
