Description:

This position is responsible for reviewing all vehicle contract documentation for completeness and compliance with state and federal laws as well as adherence to company policies and procedures and making approval/denial decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Language Skills – Ability to interact with dealership employees and others while exercising diplomacy.
  • Mathematical Skills – Must possess the ability to analyze data and perform basic calculations including DTI.
  • Independent Judgement/Reasoning – Must be able to apply judgment and logic in making decisions within set Company standards. Must be able to handle multiple simultaneous requests.
  • Education and Experience – Minimum 2 years’ experience in funding/lending/contracts. Experience in sub-prime financing a plus. Must possess a high level of attention to detail and be comfortable utilizing all Microsoft programs as well as other computer applications and systems.
  • Public Relations – Continuous contact with all levels of employees; must possess diplomacy.
  • Confidentiality – Must demonstrate the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Certificates Licenses and Registrations – None required.
  • Other – Ability to work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews customer information and supporting documentation provided by Credit Specialist and makes a decision to approve or deny a contract or modify the deal to allow conditional approval.
  • Recalculate debt-to-income (DTI).
  • Communicates with General Managers and Regional Managers regarding rejected deals; provides advice to modify deals.
  • Stores and maintains contracts and supporting documents (both hard copy and electronic) according to legal and compliance requirements.
  • Flexible schedule. Five day work week. Sunday plus one week day off.
  • Other duties as assigned.
