Work you’ll do:

  • Responsible for planning, integrating, and maintaining UC/AV software and hardware for local or wide area computer networks and converting data from project specifications by preparing program code using generally accepted computer programming languages or other developmental tools.
  • Planning, installing, and maintaining data communications network lines and devices; or evaluating, implementing, and maintaining computer hardware and software.
  • Perform day-to-day execution of UC related operational enhancements and maintenance: UC Facility O&M, General, Collaboration Tools, UC/AV Consulting and Training, UC/AV IT Construction, UC Administration.

Work location is primarily on-site in the DC/MD/VA area, there may be some flexibility to work remote.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Active Public Trust or must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance for the role.
  • 3+ years of experience installing, testing, maintaining, administering and/or troubleshooting UC technologies including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unified Border Elements (CUBE), Voice Gateways, Cisco Expressway, SIP call flows, Cisco Session Management, and Cisco VoIp and Video endpoints.
  • 3+ years’ experience updating and maintaining documentation including SOPs (support tasks, patches and system updates for UC systems, VoIP Administration, and VoIP services), KBAs, end-user reference materials, instructions, and service descriptions.
  • 3 + years’ experience managing end-to-end UC services, including hardware/equipment lifecycle management.
  • 3 + years’ experience maintaining dial plan architecture including the Direct Inward Dial (DID) number inventory from the PSTN providers and non-DID number assignments for system functional ranges.
  • 3 + years’ experience maintaining the Cisco CUBE Voice Ga
  • Must have a completed ITIL Foundation certification or commitment to obtain within 3 months of project start.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

  • 1+ year prior professional services or federal consulting experience
