    You will be guided and exposed to multiple technologies and work within a team that are open to sharing knowledge, guiding and mentoring. With that said, you need to be committed and willing to push yourself and go above and beyond!
    You will be an experienced Unified Communications Engineer with the ability to plan, design, configure, support and implement Telephony and Unified Communications solutions to a variety of customers. You will act as the subject matter expert across suitable products, providing expertise around a range of legacy and cloud based systems including - Avaya, NEC, Teams, Contact Centre, SIP-based voice systems and more.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sound experience in the design, support/troubleshooting, delivery and management of complex UC environments
  • Strong knowledge and expertise of Avaya, NEC, Teams, Contact Centre, SIP-based voice systems and similar products
  • Sound basic IT, Networking and IP knowledge
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver on established outcomes
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
  • A friendly, positive and customer-driven attitude
  • Team player - ready to contribute whatever it takes or play any role on a team to get the job done
  • Excellent time management & organisational skills
  • Enjoys a fast paced environment and is comfortable with change
  • Must be available to go on-site - customer face-to-face is an almost daily requirement!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the solution design, project scoping and technical explanations in client presentations
  • Project delivery and roll-out of legacy and cloud based UCaaS systems including - Avaya, NEC, Teams, Contact Centre, SIP
  • Provide ongoing support/troubleshooting and act as a senior technical resource for escalations
  • Maintain ownership of incidents and escalations at client sites
  • Encompass the role of subject matter expert on all UC related items
  • Ensure support SLA targets are achieved
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date
