Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Unit Claims Manager, Auto, to join our growing Customer Service Centre (CSC) team!
This is a 12 month secondment/contract opportunity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • Provide leadership and manage team operations to achieve Intact’s key business goals
  • Select, lead, mentor, manage performance and develop staff
  • Act in a consultative and advisory capacity on liability determination, investigation, policy interpretation, settlement negotiation and reserve establishment for claims
  • Resolve complex claims related issues and/or escalated problems
  • Help us implement initiatives to support meeting our departments goals
  • Identify and recommend changes to policies and/or processes to improve business results and maintain competitiveness
  • Participate recruitment and hiring of your team
