Responsibilities:

As the Unit Manager, you will hold direct responsibility for the local management, monitoring, compliance and reporting, within the B. Braun Quality Management System, ISO 9001: 2015 & Good Dialysis Practice.
You will lead and manage the team, demonstrating a positive & professional ‘can do’ approach. You will be responsible for managing the staff, the appraisal and staff performance management process and managing the recruitment and selection process for vacancies within the unit.
You will look at ways to maximise capacity by efficiently scheduling treatment sessions promoting full occupancy and minimising missed sessions.
You will be under the guidance and support of the UK Operations and Clinical Quality Managers. This is a large, busy unit with challenges as the local holding unit for patients awaiting placement in their primary unit close to home. Expert coaching and peer support from the management team will help the successful candidate embrace the challenge and be in a strong position to take the unit forward.
