Description:
We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Unity Developer to become a part of our remote team, contributing to our engaging project.
In the role of a Unity Developer, your duties will include the development and upkeep of the SDK, compatible with both C++ and Unity engines. You’ll be tasked with implementing and enhancing different functionalities and attributes linked to promotions, commerce, identity, telemetry, among others. Collaborating with a worldwide team of developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders, you will strive to deliver top-tier solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in C++ and Unity development
- Solid expertise in game development including a comprehensive understanding of game engines, rendering pipelines, and performance optimization techniques
- Experience in console development (PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One X, Nintendo)
- Understanding of build systems, continuous integration, and deployment processes
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices
- Deep passion for gaming with a comprehensive understanding of player experiences and expectations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently on clearly defined tasks
- Familiarity with version control systems (for example, Git) and collaborative development tools (for example, Slack, JIRA)
- Effective communication skills with an ability to thrive in a distributed team environment
- Fluency in English at a B2+ level or higher
Responsibilities:
- SDK development and maintenance, catering to both C++ and Unity engines
- Optimization and implementation of various features and functionalities such as promotions, commerce, identity, telemetry and more
- Partnership with a global team of developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the provision of high-quality solutions
- Active participation in code reviews to maintain a scalable, performant and maintainable codebase
- Contribution to the project’s overall success and alignment with the Horizon release milestones
