ABOUT THE TEAM

Payroll full stack team is responsible for developing and maintaining a full spectrum of web and mobile applications, both associate and business facing, which help in ensuring that the associate is paid right, the right taxes are deducted, and ensuring that associate has an understanding of the deductions and other expenses from his paycheck using a paystub. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS…

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software quality assurance, manual/automated testing, or related area.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering quality assurance, manual/automated testing, or related area.

Industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare), Master’s degree in Software Engineering Quality Assurance, Manual/Automated Testing, or related area and 1 year’s experience in Software Quality Assurance, Manual/Automated Testing, or related area, Quality assurance certification (for example, CSTE - Certified Test Engineer, CSQA - Certified Software Quality Analyst), Software Engineering Quality Assurance, Manual/Automated Testing, or related area.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO…

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open source tools and technologies. You will be working closely with our development and cross functional QA teams to ensure that our software products meet high quality standards.
Experience with automation testing frameworks is a must! In this role, you will have an opportunity to define the quality standards and help put in a place a process from a QE perspective. If this excites you, please go ahead and apply and we will be in touch!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and Automate end to end functional & performance tests , enable faster validation.
  • Work in partnership with Scrum team members, including engineering and product management, to deliver business functionality on-time, with required quality, and that meets the acceptance criteria.
  • Write test cases and scenarios from the requirements/designs; manage bug tracking across multiple teams. Create, trigger, monitor and control the execution of automated test suites, identifying issues and potential gaps.
  • Support QE governance of test processes, data, and execution metrics to help drive improve the performance of team.
  • Provide feedback into coding standard methodologies with an emphasis on growing code testability and maintainability
  • Be a key contributor to the continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. Perform code reviews for your peers. Develop and build the test infrastructure.
  • Perform manual exploratory testing and troubleshooting to help identify difficult to find bugs and UX issues
