Position Summary…
What you’ll do…
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a strong technical architecture acumen. You will be part of Engineering Excellence team who drives the software & systems architecture, engineering best practices, & standards across the Associate Digital Experience organization.

ABOUT TEAM: ASSOCIATE DIGITAL EXPERIENCE

The Associate Digital Experience (ADE) organization builds and supports associate facing applications and experiences. We seek to remove the friction points as an associate’s navigates their work day and build consumer grade experiences. As a member of the Engineering Excellence team, you will guide and support our innovative product teams.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATION -

• Knowledge of digital accessibility including accessibility principles, developers coding best practices for digital accessibility
• Knowledge in AI/ML & Generative AI
• Experience in search platforms like OpenSearch or Elasticsearch etc.

  The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

  Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS…

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.

• Provide technical and domain consultation for product teams
• Review architecture and engineering designs and offer recommendations
• Help teams across ADE to onboard & implement engineering & operational excellence KPIs through initiatives like zero touch deployment etc.
