What to Expect
Tesla is looking to reinvent the used car buying experience, and we are looking for innovators to help us in this endeavor. At Tesla, our Used Car Advisors consistently deliver on an incredible educational, immersive, and exciting experience to all our current and future customers as well as create a memorable experience for our customers on delivery day. They will partner with local sales, service, and remarketing team members to revolutionize the customer experience around purchasing a pre-owned car.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement performance management strategies, setting clear goals and targets, and providing regular feedback to ensure individual and team success
- Drive operational excellence by developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), such as sales volume, revenue, gross margin, customer satisfaction, and inventory turn/dwell, to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies, anticipate operational risks, and implement solutions that improve workflows
- Serve as the primary point of contact to manage escalations, addressing customer concerns, compliance matters, and resolving any priorities related to the Used Car/trade-in business
- Collaborate with Delivery Department to meet and exceed quarterly delivery goals
- Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to scale Tesla’s trade-in business multiple times over, considering relevant overlaps with other Tesla departments, market trends, customer experience, and technology/resourcing
- Demonstrate strong presentation skills to deliver clear and concise information, effectively conveying complex ideas and strategies to various stakeholders within the organization
What You’ll Bring

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understands English language and communicate in it when needed
- Valid driving license
- Knowledge of the used car industry, including pricing strategies, vehicle evaluation, and remarketing
