Description:

Job Summary:
The Used Car Manager at Superior Ford will be responsible for managing and overseeing the used car sales department of our dealership in Plymouth, Minnesota. This full-time, base plus commission sales job offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 per year, paid biweekly. As a management role, the Used Car Manager will work closely with the sales team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, as well as implement strategies to increase sales and profitability in the used car department.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the used car sales department, including inventory, pricing, and promotions
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
  • Hire, train, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with other departments and managers to ensure seamless operations and provide a positive customer experience
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in vehicle sales
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably in a management role
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of dealership operations, automotive financing, and vehicle inventory management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving profitability
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
