Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: Oversee the flow of used car stock to ensure compliance with business plan parameters. Eradicate aged stock in line with stocking policy and maximise profitable returns.
- Valuation and Disposal: Collaborate closely with the finance team to conduct monthly used car valuations against CAP Black Book. Ensure accurate provisions for disposal are made.
- Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely weekly sales forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Process Innovation: Continuously review and develop innovative processes to streamline used car stock flow and management, focusing on cost efficiency and residual value.
- Supplier Management: Manage the used car supplier base to ensure ongoing innovation in processes and systems, ensuring appropriate return on investment (ROI).
- New Model Launch Planning: Plan and manage the introduction of new models to the used car market. Ensure new models are available exclusively for closed auctions during the first three months post-launch.
- Sales Management: Oversee Genesis Used Car Remarketing sales to ensure annual sales targets and business plans are achieved.
- Efficiency Improvement: Develop and maintain processes to maximise efficiency in stock de-fleet to market, focusing on timing and stock turnaround.
