Description:

Speridian Technologies is hiring a UAT Lead role responsible for day-to-day management, coordination, and testing. This is a full-time employee (FTE), and time that is not spent on lead activities is required to be spent on UAT testing. Only candidates with previous experience with Medicaid (any state) UAT Testing will be consider if this role. Our client is based in Wisconsin. This is a remote role. Candidates must work Central Time Zone. Only candidates based in the US will be considered.
The UAT Lead is responsible for coordination with the client, day-to-day management of UAT testers, and UAT testing. The responsibilities include but are not limited to being able to redirect questions for other support staff, intake and initiate requests for additional testers or tester changes, ensure tester time logging is accurate, assist on contract issues, oversee quality of work, track and report on testing progress, and coaching.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. UAT Team Management:
  • Participate in screening and hiring of UAT Staff.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding process for UAT Staff. This includes coordinating access to client resources, securing and returning assets, and training on quality assurance processes, and client required training such as required security awareness training.
  • Develop and maintain the UAT Staff workplan, processes, and assignments based on client defined priorities.
  • Manage UAT Staff workload.
  • Direct UAT testing activities.
  • Perform oversight of UAT Staff including quality, and timeliness of their work, and ensuring UAT Staff availability within client working hours.
  • Maintain quality management processes and ensure staff follow the processes to ensure the highest level of service is provided.
  1. Project Team Coordination:
  • Coordinate with project teams and other systems vendors
  • Monitor system release schedules
  1. UAT Testing:
  • Define testing strategies and protocols to validate the functionality of the system.
  • Conduct thorough UAT testing to identify and address any defects or issues.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project deliverables.
  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and management through reports and presentations.
  • Track, and report hours spent on each project in separate categories as directed by the client to support accurate invoicing and future project planning.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Medicaid UAT Testing
  • Proven experience performing the Lead role, to include managing testing staff on multiple engagements, preferably in a state government setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Testing Best Practices
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira
  • Expert level experience with testing tools and the use of automated testing
