POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Planning and Development Department has an exciting opportunity for a User Analyst to join our team.
REQUIREMENTS
You will have completed a one-year certificate in computer science, including or supplemented by courses in database concepts and programming, plus sound related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. You will have a strong understanding of database management, land data systems, and the development processes in a municipal environment. In addition you will be proficient in MS Office and possess a valid class 5 BC Driver’s License.
Responsibilities:
In this position you will support the continued build-out of the Infor Public Sector (IPS) software implementation, Rock Solid OneView implementation, and related electronic platforms. This position is the first point of contact for any processing software related questions stemming from within Planning & Development, including questions related to the use of the system, requests for system improvements, or reporting needs. You will assist in defining business requirements and investigate business procedures and processes, provide options for maintenance, replacement and upgrades, review system report capabilities and recommend enhancements and modifications related to processes, plans and reports. This position will take direction from the Planning and Development Managers regarding priorities, report generation and policy development and implementation.
