Description:
Your Role
As a User Experience Design Specialist in the Design & Insights team you will play a crucial role within ZEISS Digital Partners and actively contribute to the success and impact of the digital transformation at ZEISS. You are eager to understand complex topics and contexts, ranging from medical technology to metrology. In your role you will
- Contribute to the whole creative process: from early sketches and scenarios in explorative phases of Design Thinking to high level concepts and wireframes, initial User Interfaces and MVPs
- Analyze with your team existing customer and user journeys, indicating crucial interaction moments and touchpoints
- Support teams and potential users to imagine the futuristic scenarios - and iterate concepts and designs based on customer’s job-to-be-done and user feedback
- Help to develop and implement world class end-to-end user journeys for diverse stakeholders that seamlessly integrate with existing workflows and infrastructure
- Help to maximise the value for ZEISS and our customers and users
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Design (e.g. Interaction Design) or an equivalent work experience
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a leading UI/UX design & innovation agency or within an in-house team at large organisation
- Experience in handling the translation of UX concepts into running digital products / online services (in an agile way)
- The ability to quickly understand complex topics, creatively come up with first ideas and visualise these in lively ways
- An eye for details and consistency towards building elegant and simple user flows
- Proficiency in using one or more interactive design tools, eg., Figma, Sketch, InVision, Framer, Principle, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and AfterEffects
- Strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills in English and ideally also German
- Ability to communicate the value of design both within a design and business context
- Experience in Design Thinking and hands-on field studies and user research are a plus
- Prior experience in working with or developing UI pattern libraries and style guides is a plus
- Initial experience in a start-up environment and exposure to cross-functional teams is an advantage
- Basic knowledge in HTML, JS/CSS or skills in 3D tools is a plus
