Description:
Your Role
As UX Designer you will work on integrative UX concepts for complex applications built on different technologies. You will conduct user research to understand and analyze user journeys, indicating crucial interaction moments and touchpoints. Based on user needs, you will ideate to find creative and highly usable interaction concepts – working within existing UX concepts or creating novel solutions – always aiming at the highest levels of user experience and quality. You will be responsible for creating prototypes and evaluate them with different user groups in the field of microscopy. For this you’ll delve into complex topics and contexts, ranging from life science research to industrial metrology
Your Profile
- At least two years of professional experience in a relevant position with a focus on UX design, usability engineering or similar
- Passion for developing user-centered concepts at a high-quality standard, with an eye for the big picture and a love of detail
- Methodological competence and first practical experience in user research and testing
- Familiarity with using and contributing to design systems, pattern libraries and style guides
- Knowledge in UX tools like Axure, Figma or similar
- Strong team spirit and communication skills
- Experience in working with development teams and agile methods is a plus
- A bachelor’s or master´s degree or diploma in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Media Design, Ergonomics, Psychology – or you are a creative career changer with stunning reference projects
- Strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills in English and ideally also German
