ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors’ degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Desing, Human Computer Interaction or equivalent practical experience
• Highly skilled in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design, understanding user and business needs, prototyping, testing and building end-to-end digital experiences for customers, staff and business
• Practical, hands-on design experience delivering user-centred design within large complex transformation projects for internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex problems and address emerging challenges
• Experience interviewing, prototyping and user testing designs with customers and B2B clients
• Experience building and working in digital brand design systems, user interfaces that confirm within corporate brand guidelines
• Excellent internal and external stakeholder engagement skills

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Experience in healthcare environment and exposure working in or across healthcare based experiences
• Ability to ensure a human-centred approach to designing and testing digital experiences, focusing on the customer experience
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and low-code platforms, enabling seamless translation of design concepts into functional, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces
• Able to lead and facilitate design, co-creation workshops and sprints as well as presenting concepts to stakeholders and senior executives

REQUIREMENTS

• A National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months may be asked of you
• According to the role, Ramsay may require proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.

THE ROLE

Ramsay Health Care Australia has a great opportunity for an established and hands-on User Experience Designer to play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional digital experiences for patients, clinicians and staff.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to accelerate the growth of Ramsay’s digital strategy. Key to this role is supporting and designing human-centre, holistic end-to-end digital solutions that align with both the user and business needs.
